Next podium for Max Nagl

Currently, the „two“ seems to be Max´s popular position. After his strong appearance in Mantova, he now mixed also up in the top rankings at the race in Hawkstone (Great Britain). By this, the German underlined his ambitions for the 2019 race season.

With his change to KTM Sarholz Racing, Max returned to his former power. The 31ager wants to fully attack again this year and showed it already at the first test races. At the finals of the Italian championship in Mantova, he took second place in a powerful race, which he also tied in with now in England.

Max used the Hawkstone International as next race for his season preparation and he was one of the favorites from the very beginning. „The deep ruts create a challenging track“ Max summarized. But he found quickly into his rhythm with his KTM-bike and finished both races in the MX1 class as second and third and by this he reserved an outstanding second place.

Subsequently, he also connected to it in the Super Final and became second again. „Today was a great day. The numerous spectators provided a powerful backdrop. The bike functioned really well and we are competitive. The season start of the World Championship can come” Max summarized.

Directly after the race in England, he headed back home. Because next Monday already, the transportation box for the MXGP-kick off in Argentina had to be packed. “The race will be something special to me. Thanks to the support of my fans, I will be there at the start and would like to thank them with a top-result” finalized the born Upper Bavarian.
